Description

• Engineers on the Backend team produce the foundation for Doxel's construction insights • Work closely with Product, Frontend Engineering, and Design to build a polished product that serves customer’s needs • Own the technology that snapshots construction activity and ingests data • Bolster the data pipeline and API platform for reducing service disruptions and supporting new features • Apply backend software development expertise to promote strong design patterns and unify data pipeline • Create and maintain APIs, extend ETL pipeline, and create diagnostic tools • Find trade-offs between 'fast' and 'rigorous', monitor complexity, and introduce paradigms for data flow and computation infrastructure • Work with Computer Vision and Machine Learning engineers to release state-of-the-art 3D computer vision models

Requirements

• 3+ years with experience in Python, C++ or a FP Language • 2+ years of full stack or back end focused engineering role within a cloud-based environment • 1+ year of experience with ETL pipelines • Experience with Kubernetes and Airflow • Experience with SQL and deep database knowledge • Experience with test driven development • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other technical discipline
