Description

•The Manager of Front End Engineering will lead the team responsible for building the platform and tooling for front-end web engineers to enhance their speed and efficiency. •This role will focus on providing the necessary tools, processes, and infrastructure to support the product application engineering group, ensuring they can move swiftly with better predictability. •Strong communication, analytical skills, and knowledge of best practices are essential for navigating the team through the challenges associated with the development of the front-end platform. •You will work closely with product and design teams to ensure our platform is intuitive, visually stunning, and accessible.

Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience •Advanced degree or professional certification is preferred •Minimum of 5 years of software engineering management experience •Minimum of 7 years of experience designing, developing, and delivering software products •Expertise in front-end technologies and frameworks, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React and CSS •Knowledge of SaaS operations and experience with modern technical SaaS tools and their integration •Eagerness to share ideas and learn from other team members •Manage the Core Web Vitals Metrics and provide proactive suggestions and data driven guidance to software engineers. •Strong communication skills to clearly describe and discuss problems •Experience with designing and deploying applications in a cloud-based environment, preferably with AWS •Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills •Experience working with distributed systems, integrating APIs, and writing scripts to automate tasks •Proficiency in Git, APIs, popular front-end frameworks, and agile methodologies •Managing performance metrics
