Description

• Lead the full design lifecycle, from user research and prototyping to final design implementation. • Develop and maintain design systems that ensure consistency and scalability across DroneDeploy’s platform. • Apply customer-centric frameworks such as Jobs to Be Done (JTBD) to create designs that deeply resonate with user needs and drive business goals. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and customer success, to align designs with business objectives and resource constraints. • Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on real-world feedback to continuously enhance the user experience. • Present and articulate design decisions and concepts to stakeholders across the organization, ensuring alignment with overall product strategy.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading end-to-end design projects, from research to implementation. • Strong proficiency in design tools, particularly Figma. • Experience in developing and managing scalable design systems. • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and experience applying JTBD or similar frameworks. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fully remote, cross-functional team environment. • A portfolio showcasing your ability to deliver impactful, user-centered design solutions that align with business objectives. • Available to work standard working hours 9 am - 6 pm within the Pacific Standard time zone. • Available to travel occasionally domestically for training sessions and company events.
