• Lead the team in balancing urgency vs. quality. • Partner closely with leadership across all functions - Product, Engineering, Design, Research, GTM, Customer success and Sales. • Seat at the table for every key decision for this new initiative. • Create a culture of strong technical ownership, resulting in highly reliable products and services at scale. • Build and manage a team of high performing data scientists to deliver best in class analytics. • Leverage data-driven insights to proactively identify impactful opportunities, inform experimentation design and product roadmaps.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelors’ or above in quantitative discipline: Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field • 10+ years experience of leveraging data-driven analysis to influence key business decisions, preferably in a tech company • 5+ years directly managing data scientists, quantitative researchers, or product analysts • Demonstrated experience building and scaling a data science function in an early stage, high growth environment • Proven track record of being able to work independently and proactively engage with business stakeholders with minimal direction & driver measurable business impact • Familiarity with advanced analytics methodologies and experience with ML and predictive modeling • Experience with increasing depth of product acquisition, engagement and monetization in a SaaS business
