📋 Description
• We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer with expertise in both manual and automation testing. • The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive testing strategies. • You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify defects, improve testing processes, and maintain the highest standards of software quality. • Develop, document, and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure software functionality and performance. • Design and maintain test plans, test scripts, and test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications. • Implement and maintain automation frameworks for functional, regression, and performance testing. • Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools and work closely with the development team for resolution. • Perform functional, integration, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing to validate software behavior. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies and improve software quality processes. • Conduct root cause analysis for defects and recommend corrective actions. • Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and quality assurance methodologies. • Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to the overall improvement of the QA team.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong background in both manual and automated testing. • Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test plans. • Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, or Cypress. • Strong knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation. • Hands-on experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM, etc.). • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps. • Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured. • Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
