Description

• Design and define architecture of cloud-based applications • Provide technical leadership in software development lifecycle • Develop and execute cloud infrastructure strategy (Azure) • Offer architectural insight for cloud infrastructure services • Establish best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles • Communicate architectural strategies aligning with business goals • Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and tracing tools • Analyze and enhance system performance and security • Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies • Collaborate with product managers and development teams • Ensure adherence to security standards and compliance frameworks • Improve system performance and cost-efficiency • Mentor senior developers and engineers • Create and maintain documentation related to architecture designs

Requirements

• Degree in computer science or related field • At least 10 years of experience • Strong focus on cloud-native architectures and microservices for a minimum of 6 years • Very strong pedigree of enterprise product development in one or more tech stacks and programming languages and ecosystems • Expertise in one or more cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) • In-depth understanding of cloud platforms and cloud-native architectures including SaaS and PaaS models • Strong experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, AKS, EKS) • Deep understanding of microservices architecture, design patterns, and event-driven architecture • Experience with multitenant architecture in a cloud-native environment • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cloud infrastructure management • Proficiency in modern programming languages (Java, .NET, Go, Python, or similar) • Hands-on experience with cloud security principles, encryption, identity management, and data protection • Experience in cloud cost modeling and cost optimization • Strong experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases • Must have experience with database architectures in multi-tenant SaaS products • Real world experience with production monitoring, alerting, and observability • Experience with monitoring, logging, and tracing tools • Experience decomposing monolithic applications using Domain-Driven Design into microservices • Strong experience in leading, teaching, and guiding modern software-development practices • Very strong and articulate verbal and written communication skills • Relevant cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
