Description

• Architect, design and code across multiple technologies • Guide and mentor other engineers • Work on customer issues and collaborate with various stakeholders • Function as a technical lead for projects and teams as required • Work on Distribution Management System, one of Duck Creek’s products

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience • Strong focus on cloud native architectures and microservices for at least 6 years • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field • Expert of scalable, resilient, modern, cloud-native SaaS product development with Java tech stack • Expert in distributed software patterns, such as DDD, microservices, serverless, and event-driven architecture • Strong experience with Azure cloud and cloud native services on Azure platform • Must have experience architecting cloud native SaaS products with Java, SQL Server and Azure stacks • Expert in Object-oriented design, Java and Typescript development • Strong experience in SQL Server and/or Azure SQL database development • Cosmos DB experience is a major advantage • Must have experience with database architectures in multi-tenant SaaS products • Expert in CI/CD technologies to deliver software to customers with full automation • Docker and Kubernetes experience is important • Real world experience with production monitoring, alerting, and observability • Experience with Dynatrace, Splunk, DataDog and automation of observability patterns • Experience decomposing monolithic applications using Domain-Driven Design into microservices • Strong experience in leading, teaching, and guiding modern software-development practices across Product Development • Very strong and articulate verbal and written communication skills
