Description
• Lead the migration of an Oracle-based data warehouse to Snowflake. • Assess current data infrastructure and design migration strategies. • Implement modern data marts on Snowflake to optimize reporting and analytics for business users. • Oversee and lead teams to deliver project(s) for clients. • Proficiency in Linux, Docker, and Python for automation. • Ability to read and debug Oracle PL/SQL for report migration.
Requirements
• Education: Bachelor Degree in Engineering - Information Technology or Computer Science. • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. • Knowledge of data security, governance, and compliance standards. • Certifications in Snowflake or Oracle databases. • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, including working with Snowflake and Oracle. • Strong expertise in PL/SQL, Python, and SQL performance tuning. • Hands-on experience with Linux, Docker, and containerization. • Familiarity with Git and CI/CD workflows for automated testing and deployment. • Experience designing and building data marts and implementing ETL processes. • Strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and migration processes.
