Description

• The Senior Manager, Software Engineering is responsible for leading and managing a team of software engineers to drive the successful development and delivery of high-quality software solutions. • This role involves overseeing the software development life cycle, ensuring adherence to best practices, managing resources, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. • The Software Engineering Manager also plays a key role in technical strategy, process improvement, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • Proven experience in software engineering, including hands-on software development experience and previous leadership or management experience. • Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team. • In-depth knowledge of software engineering principles, software development methodologies, and best practices. • Experience with c#, .net/java and a microsoft tech stack is highly preferred. You will be leading a team of engineers who develop in these languages as their primary technical stack. • Experience managing distributed teams that include overseas teams. • High level of ownership in technical details, with proven experience being able to develop strategies and execute large scale migrations • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Experience in managing software development projects, including resource allocation, project planning, and risk management.
