Description

• Develop and maintain trading systems for market making on behalf of the Avalanche Foundation, ensuring high performance and reliability • Create integrations for order routing and market data with multiple exchanges, leveraging REST and websocket APIs • Design and implement robust risk management and hedging solutions to reduce risk • Optimize order placement algorithms to enhance execution efficiency, reduce slippage, and minimize funding rate payments • Build comprehensive trade analytics scripts to monitor PNL, positions, and risk, providing actionable insights • Continuously improve system performance and decrease latency to maintain a competitive edge in the market

Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science or related discipline • 5+ years experience in backend development • Experience with Python • Experience with financial systems, trading platforms, and exchanges • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment • Curiosity and self-learning: A strong curiosity and eagerness to learn, especially about the latest information in blockchain technology and finance • Self-driven mindset: Ability to identify opportunities and execute on them independently • Experience with Golang • Experience with blockchain technology
