• Education Perfect has a suite of EdTech products designed to empower educators and amplify their impact in the classroom. • Are you an experienced Java developer looking for an opportunity to make a real impact in the education sector? • Join our small but dedicated team working on EdPotential, our school data analytics platform that helps New Zealand schools analyse and act on student assessment data to improve learning outcomes. • As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in developing, maintaining and enhancing the EdPotential platform, ensuring that it delivers high-quality, secure and reliable data-driven insights to New Zealand educators. • We are looking for someone based in Wellington to join our close-knit team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Our office is located in Te Aro within the EndGame office space and hybrid working is available.
🎯 Requirements
• Wellington-based • Senior-level Java development experience, including Spring framework • Strong proficiency in SQL • Experience working with GWT and AWS is a bonus • Comfortable working with legacy codebases and improving existing systems • Ability to work effectively both independently & collaboratively within a small team • Proactive, solution-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills • Passion for education and educational technology is an advantage
