Description

• Coordinate and participate in the design, testing, implementation, and review of complex manual and automated financial and accounting systems and processes. • Maintain and improve processes for tracking and analyzing operating costs, ensuring alignment with budget, and assessing their impact on overall company performance. • Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate coding of accruals, amortizations, and invoices. • Partner with a team of financial analysts to produce a monthly reporting package for executive leaders, detailing budget variances and comparisons to the prior year. • Report on business performance, identifying financial impacts compared to budget, for monthly and quarterly presentations to internal operations leaders, executive leaders, and the Board of Directors. • Perform in-depth financial analysis by synthesizing large data volumes, building analytical frameworks, interpreting data, and summarizing findings. • Drive planning and forecasting activities, including resource planning and vendor spend projections. • Collaborate with business leaders in preparation of business cases and financial modeling. • Build effective relationships across departments and within the FP&A team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. • 3+ years’ experience in Financial Planning & Analysis. • Advanced Excel user with hands-on experience in building financial models and performing scenario analysis. • Experience in building and delivering PowerPoint presentations to senior management. • Hands-on experience in developing and leading budgeting and forecasting processes. • Understanding of GAAP and financial principles. • Hands on experience in financial variance analysis. • Prior experience in providing decision support to business unit leadership or/and operations leaders including IT, HR, or Marketing. • Knowledge of planning systems and advanced use of Excel. • Knowledge/experience working in ERP systems (preferably SAP). • Attentive to detail with ability to synthesize and summarize data, and present analysis in a concise, insightful manner. • Self-starter and problem solver. • Effective communicator and team player. • Comfortable working independently.
