📋 Description
• We are looking for a versatile and creative 3D Generalist to join our visual storytelling team at fern and Simplicissimus • You’ll be responsible for creating high-quality 3D visuals that enhance our explainers, essays, and documentary-style videos • You’ll collaborate closely with producers, editors, and motion designers • The role will be fully remote and freelance • Tasks include creating 3D animations, modeling, texturing, and lighting
🎯 Requirements
• Professional proficiency in Blender (optional but valued: Unreal Engine 5) • Strong eye for design, lighting, and visual storytelling • 3+ years of professional experience in 3D production (ideally in explainers, essays, or documentaries) • Solid understanding of modeling, texturing, rigging, lighting, animation, and compositing workflows • Independent, reliable, and collaborative working style • Passionate about visual content and editorial storytelling • Intermediate German language skills
