• At Elodie Games, we believe that games are better when you play them with friends. • We build endlessly engaging experiences while striving to eliminate all barriers that get in the way of playing together. • We’re a diverse team of industry professionals who love games and fuel each other's creativity. • As an early member of the team, you’ll have the rare opportunity to explore broad areas of game development, learn new skills, and shape our first game. • As a Level Designer focused on maps and game modes, you’ll leverage your design expertise and deep knowledge to design, tweak, and optimize the player experience for multiplayer PvPvE extraction gameplay. • You’ll work directly with cross-functional teams to improve and extend our existing multiplayer maps across different levels of challenge and complexity, from new player to hardcore game experiences.
🎯 Requirements
• 3+ years of experience with multiplayer game maps and modes as a level designer • Experience using Unreal for building environments, level scripting, level design • Demonstrated understanding of Unreal blueprints for content pipelines (levels, creatures, objects, and encounters) • Deep play experience with and understanding of PvP gameplay experiences within leading recent multiplayer games, MOBAs, session-based action games with item collection, and/or MMOs. • Deep play experience and understanding of the progression and end-game experience of games that combine PvE and PvP gameplay. • Strong written and verbal communication skills
