Description

• Collects, reviews, and enters rating information into the system to provide quotes to underwriters for complex new business, endorsements, renewals, cancellations and reinstatements • Contacts agents and follows up for missing information • Reviews and processes endorsements • Develops relationships with agents to promote new accounts • Participates in writing new business for basic accounts

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience • One year of underwriting support experience • Keyboarding speed of 40 wpm with accurate data entry • Good personal computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word • Good problem-solving skills • Ability to make sound decisions • Self-direction and teamwork skills • General knowledge of insurance terminology preferred
