Description

• Lead and mentor the IT Reconciliation team by overseeing day-to-day activities, setting goals, and performing reviews; • Guide the design and implementation of successful reconciliation solutions; • Take part in scaling various reconciliation services; • Design and implement complex workflows and APIs for the reconciliation platform and related tooling; • Design and implement complex reconciliation processes for payment platforms from the DB perspective; • Support and supervise all aspects of the reconciliation lifecycle, including rules, mappings, importation logic, etc; • Develop and validate business requirements around entities and data to reconcile; • Work with Product and understand what business opportunity/problem the feature is solving; • Work with a modern, fully web-based reconciliation platform; • Review Reconciliation related processes and documentation for continuous improvement; • Work in a cloud-based environment (AWS);

Requirements

• 10+ years in Engineering roles working with databases - the role requires strong skills in at least one programming language and a database engine; • 2+ years in a similar team management role with a strong technical focus; • Strong SQL knowledge and database skills; • Database experience with preferably SQL Server (MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle are also acceptable); • Familiar with HTTP, (S)FTP, SSL, and other protocols; • Experience with public clouds – AWS (preferred), GCP, Azure, etc.; • Highly proficient in spoken and written English; • An enthusiastic, hard-working, and motivated person with excellent communication skills.
