Description

• The Principal Data Scientist will demonstrate valuable contributions to NI’s Optimal+ SW solution using advanced machine learning methods. • Responsible for evaluating ML frameworks, algorithms, methodologies, and tools, building generic ML applications from use case initiation to deployment. • Design & develop AI models from research to production across diverse use cases including tabular ML to deep learning, and more.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, or related field; M.Sc. or PhD preferred. • 5+ years of experience in AI/ML/DL or related field of delivering solutions to production • Expertise in Python and libraries for ML & data i.e., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, Pytorch • In depth knowledge of machine learning techniques, deep learning, and statistical methods • Customer facing and presentation skills • Self-motivated, driven by challenges • Expertise in the semiconductor and/or electronics industries (preferred) • Experience in generative AI especially in nonstandard domains like large datasets of tabular or waveforms data (preferred)
