Then Emma is the right place for you. • We are seeking a talented and experienced Engineering Manager to lead the Payments team, which plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless, secure, and high-performing checkout experience for our customers. • In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire software development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep expertise in payments, e-commerce, or fintech domains, with experience in checkout and payment gateways. • Strong understanding of payment processing flows, authorization, capture, refunds, and reconciliation processes. • Technical leadership experience with a modern tech stack, ideally including AWS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Golang, or other backend technologies. • You excel at people management, promoting inclusivity and psychological safety, with a proven ability to lead and develop teams. • You have a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer or electrical engineering, business informatics or equivalency in relevant work experience. • You are highly proactive, resourceful, and have a strong sense of ownership, with the ability to solve complex business problems through technology. • You have strong analytical skills, business acumen, and are an open-minded and creative team player that challenges directly while caring deeply.
