β€’ The Retirement Plan Counselor helps individuals using Empower as their retirement provider through their employer build a healthy retirement and plan their financial future. β€’ Develop strategic relationships with site contacts within their assigned territory. β€’ Meet with participants virtually and conduct webinars in addition to meeting with them in person on topics such as: features and benefits of the employer sponsored Defined Contribution (DC) retirement plan(s) and retirement readiness. β€’ Work closely with internal business partners delivering increased client value. β€’ Act as the "voice of the customer" by relaying important client feedback obtained during on-site visits to the appropriate Retirement Services area.

Requirements

β€’ Minimum 3 - 5 years financial services/retirement experience β€’ Satisfy service level agreements for the plan as well as achieve business results β€’ Possess a comprehensive knowledge of mutual funds/separate accounts, with an understanding of the risk/reward trade off for all securities β€’ FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses required β€’ Be well versed in Deferred Compensation and Defined Contribution Plans as well as retirement planning concepts β€’ Strong presentation skills β€’ Have experience with a consultative needs-based approach helping people plan for retirement β€’ Ability to work independently; results- oriented
