Description
• Collaborate closely with other Technical UX Designers and engineers across Endava and our client/co-developing team • Write maintainable, high-quality code using Frostbite's visual scripting language to implement user interface logic and ensure seamless data integration with backend systems • Create functional UI elements within the Frostbite editor, utilizing the entity component system • Work with Engineering and Project Management to review UI features, assess scope, and estimate the development of new features • Deliver high-quality assets with close attention to visual detail
Requirements
• Two to four years experience in game development or a closely related industry in a technically-oriented design or engineering role • Ability to debug technical issues effectively and document both the issues and resolutions • Ability to concisely and transparently communicate updates and resolutions to team members, customers, and stakeholders • Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), algorithms and data structures • Strong grasp of UI/UX principles and proficiency in implementing and optimizing assets to meet engine requirements • Preferred Skills: Professional experience with Unreal (UMG, blueprint) or Unity (NGUI, UGUI, visual scripting) • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics • Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Suite • Portfolio Requirements: Examples of UI/UX design work from professional, personal or community projects, or equivalent contributions are encouraged
