• Welcome to Energy Vault® (NYSE:NRGV), where our purpose is to enable a sustainably energized world. • Our mission is to provide energy solutions that accelerate the global transition to renewable energy. • Energy Vault® operates globally with headquarter locations in Westlake Village, California and Lugano, Switzerland. • Energy Vault Solutions is dedicated to delivering customer-focused energy storage products that merge Battery and Clean Hydrogen technologies. • We are looking for an experienced and hands-on PCS Control Engineer – Energy Storage Systems (ESS). • You will provide leadership with our product development and project delivery by establishing processes and creating technical documents.
🎯 Requirements
• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with focus on Power systems and Power Electronics. • Deep technical knowledge of grid-forming inverters acquired from either research or field experience. • Knowledge of battery energy storage or utility scale solar grid integration. • Experience working on PSCAD, PSS/E and other power system modeling software. • Experience with IEC 61131-3 programming, preferably Simatic S7 PLC series. • Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing. • Familiarity with relevant industry and standards such as UL 1741 SA, IEEE 1547, IEEE 2800, and ISO requirements. • Comfortable thriving in fast-paced, rapid growth environments. • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, up to 20%. • A passion for sustainability, our mission, and our vision is a bonus!
