📋 Description
• Responsible for configuration of Storage equipment such as Tape and DASD • Point person for moving client’s data during migrations or upgrades • Set up data replication for client data • Serve as escalation point for storage issues
🎯 Requirements
• 10 years experience within a z/OS environment supporting Tape and DASD functions • Experience supporting Disaster Recovery within a mainframe environment • Understanding of data migration from one subsystem to another for both Tape and DASD • Experience opening tickets with vendors such as IBM • Must be self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel at a level of creating documents to share with clients • Familiarity with data replication
