Our roles can be based ANYWHERE in Australia or New Zealand, and while we all mostly work from home we’re proud of how we keep our global team connected. • About the Role • As an Engineering III at Envato, you’ll play a crucial role in building, deploying and supporting software solutions for Envato. You will analyse the requirements of the business and deliver well tested high-quality code which they will support in a production environment. • You will be joining the Pricing and Payments team within the customer account management domain for Elements, Envato’s flagship product. Elements is our subscription-based digital asset platform offering a vast library of creative resources to empower designers and creatives to bring their ideas to life! This team plays a critical role in optimising the sign-in, sign-up, and subscription processes, making a direct impact on revenue growth and contributing to the success of Elements.

Requirements

• Likely to have 2+ years of web and/or software development experience with Ruby on Rails and AWS, or a similar technology stack. • Experienced with automated testing frameworks for efficient and reliable code verification. • Skilled in dynamic, public-facing web applications. • Proven track record in managing and delivering multiple projects over time. • Familiar with key components of a large-scale web stack, including UNIX, web servers, proxies, load balancers, and both SQL and NoSQL databases. • Knowledgeable in server-side and client-side programming languages, along with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. • Understands back-end and front-end performance optimization and scaling strategies. • Communicates effectively within the team, actively participates in feedback loops, and strives to deliver stakeholder-driven functionality. • Demonstrates a proactive commitment to continuous improvement, regularly seeking feedback and opportunities to enhance processes skills, and outcomes. • Upholds integrity and transparency, embodying Envato’s core values in all interactions and project work.
