Our roles can be based ANYWHERE in Australia or New Zealand, and while we all mostly work from home we’re proud of how we keep our global team connected. • About the role: As a Financial Accounting Manager at Envato, you will provide critical support to our accounting operations during a key transition period. Your focus will be on SOX compliance, systems implementation, and statutory reporting and audit following Envato’s acquisition by Shutterstock Inc. Working closely with the existing team, you will help deliver these key projects while supporting the team through this busy time. Additional duties may be assigned in line with the role’s requirements. • This is a 6-9 month, fixed term contract.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong technical accounting expertise, including knowledge of US GAAP. • Deep understanding of financial statement risks, controls, and SOX compliance. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills. • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently. • Adaptable, flexible, and quick to learn new systems and processes. • Strong communication and collaboration skills across finance and cross-functional teams. • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CA) with ERP system experience. • Advanced Excel skills and ability to optimize financial processes.
