β’ Responsible for developing the initial concept, design, integration, and certification of the fuel and inerting system. β’ Work closely with engineering teams, suppliers, and regulatory agencies to deliver a reliable and efficient integrated system that meets certification requirements. β’ Create Technical Requirements Document (TRD) for required systems/components. β’ Carry out trade studies to align with aircraft configuration(s). β’ Support Fault Hazard and System Safety Analysis for associated systems.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. β’ Minimum of 10 years in the aerospace industry within an aircraft or OEM environment. β’ In-depth knowledge of fuel system design, system integration, and aerospace CFR Part 25 certification processes. β’ Prior experience in fuel system and component sizing analysis. β’ Prior experience in component qualification and creation of certification documentation. β’ Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to address technical challenges through innovative solutions. β’ Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
