Description

• We are looking for a storage engineer with automation background to join our team and help us design, implement, and maintain our storage infrastructure. • You will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and scalability of our storage systems, as well as automating the provisioning, configuration, and monitoring of the storage resources. • You will also collaborate with other engineers and developers to optimize the storage solutions for various applications and workloads.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience. • At least 5 years of experience in storage engineering, administration, or support. • Strong knowledge of storage technologies like Dell Isilon/Powerscale and NetApp and protocols such as SAN, NAS, iSCSI, NFS, SMB, etc. • Experience in automation and scripting using languages and tools such as Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, Python, etc. • Experience in cloud storage services such as AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, Google Cloud Storage, etc. • Experience in storage performance tuning and optimization. • Experience in storage security and compliance. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Ability to learn new technologies and skills quickly. • Experience implementing hybrid cloud storage solutions within an enterprise environment • Familiar with Software Defined storage and hyperconverged infrastructure solutions • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve complex issues • Strong knowledge of industry standard IT processes and procedures including ITIL standards • Able to communicate clearly with peers as well as management • Strong project management skills, with experience in organizing, planning, and executing projects from vision through implementation, involving internal personnel, contractors and vendors; ability to analyze project needs and determine resources needed to meet objectives.
