📋 Description

• The Billing Specialist will be responsible for creating and submitting claims, bills, and patient statements. • The Billing Specialist is responsible for ensuring an organized, cohesive process is in place for all claims submissions, revenue cycle tracking, denial management, and resubmissions. • The Billing Specialist will be highly organized, motivated, and energetic. • The Billing Specialist will work on a team of Insurance Specialists, Billing Specialists, and revenue cycle experts. • The Billing Specialist will have strong organizational skills and multitasking abilities. • The Billing Specialist is also comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment, solving problems independently, and comfortable with ambiguity as data systems and processes are still being shaped.

🎯 Requirements

• 2-5 years experience in healthcare billing, revenue cycle, and/or patient accounting • Medical billing, coding, and/or health insurance experience; specific experience with CMS 1500 claims • Strong skills in communication and collaboration with diverse teams • Organized and results-driven • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, subject to rapid change and innovation
