• Oversee all financial topics for the projects within the business unit. • Support and steer the business to achieve its goals. • Monitor and analyze project financial performance and KPIs, identifying trends and providing actionable insights. • Lead the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasting. • Work closely with the relevant stakeholders to prepare budgets and forecasts, and compare them against actual performance. • Ensure alignment of financial plans with project objectives. • Prepare accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual analyses. • Present financial results to senior management, highlighting key variances and performance drivers. • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements within projects. • Implement and monitor cost control measures. • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic initiatives. • Collaborate with department heads and other stakeholders to ensure financial alignment with business goals. • Provide financial insights and guidance to support the business unit goals. • Foster a strong partnership with operational teams to drive performance and business growth. • Assess and manage financial risks associated with projects. • Ensure robust internal controls are in place and adhered to. • Coordinate with internal and external auditors regarding project finances.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA, CPA or other professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or ACA preferred. • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in a business unit or divisional capacity (minimum 3-5 years), ideally in the Digital or Technology Industries. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards. • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
