Description
• You will be part of our global production leadership team, leading our Production department • The production department handles all technical and creative broadcast aspects globally • You'll lead the department with P&L responsibilities, strategic planning, and budgeting • Work with cross-functional departments to bring our mission to life • Lead a global team ensuring efficient delivery of productions • Be responsible for successful operational and financial delivery of all productions • Understand the efficiency balance between insourcing and outsourcing • Drive improvements through new processes and guidelines • Build a global financial reporting system • Harmonize global Production workflows and processes • Review and approve production scope of work and budgets • Ensure ESL delivers as the best broadcast producer in esports • Foster inter-company communication with other departments • Require strong negotiating and analytical skills • Drive or contribute to RFPs • Comfortable building and defending budgets • Constantly seek financial optimization and efficiency
Requirements
• Highly experienced working in a broadcast production area live sports or entertainment • In-depth experience in a directorial position, managing teams and departments • Fluency in English required • Good team-building skills through strong leadership and management capabilities • Ability to work under time pressure and remain calm in stressful situations • Experience with the challenges of producing live entertainment events • Comfortable representing the business externally and presenting to and influencing at Board level • Prepare and defend annual budgets, understand fiscal challenges, etc • Experience in creating, maintaining and closing event budgets • Previous experience working in Esports
