📋 Description
• The Ethereum Foundation (EF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Ethereum and related technologies. • Devconnect has evolved into a space for deep discussions, co-working, and innovation. • Aim to create a Schelling point for the community and newcomers to learn and showcase Ethereum applications. • Support an ecosystem-wide effort to make Argentina the crypto capital of the world. • As a Production Magician, you'll be part of an event production team helping to make Devconnect great. • Assist with overseeing and managing vendors and organizing logistics and communication.
🎯 Requirements
• Based in Buenos Aires (preferable), or South America, or willing to be in Buenos Aires for 2 months prior to Devconnect. • Experienced with organizing medium/large events (of at least 1000 people). • Experienced in managing different collaborators or co-organizer is a plus. • Experienced in organizing event in La Rural (Buenos Aires venue) is a plus. • Have experience in managing event vendors as catering, internet, transport, and AV among others. • Effective while working under pressure with hard deadlines and unknown issues that are ever-present in event planning. • Proactively troubleshoot problems blocking your path, and the problems blocking the paths of others. • Have great people and communication skills. • Have an ownership mentality. When you take on a task, you get it done well and on time. • Fluent in English and Spanish (writing and speaking). • Huge plus: experience in World’s Fair events or International Expos. • Able to work with a multicultural team.
