📋 Description
• About the Ethereum Foundation and Launchpad Program • The Ethereum Foundation (EF) is a global non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Ethereum and related technologies. Our mission is to do what is best for Ethereum’s long-term success. Our role is to allocate resources to critical projects, to be a valued voice within the Ethereum ecosystem, and to advocate for Ethereum to the outside world. • The Launchpad Program is a small incubation function which helps high-potential projects become sustainable, credibly neutral, public-goods-provisioning institutions for the Ethereum ecosystem. The program covers the range from traditional spinouts (EF teams creating a new organization) to spin-ups (incubating an idea or supporting a grantee or early ecosystem organization). The team serves as a sparring partner, supporting with organizing, structuring, and planning as well as providing and maintaining resources around the topic of creating and nurturing new ecosystem organizations. • Recently, the team has supported the launch of ecosystem organizations such as powdr and Argot Collective. • Your Mission • As a Project Manager in the Launchpad Program, you will contribute mainly to three different types of activities: • Active support and management of projects in the Launchpad Program • Building up and maintaining resources and knowledge for the Launchpad Program • Source and evaluate new projects for the Launchpad Program • As part of a small team, responsibilities are shared on a per project basis, while each team member has a set of certain focus areas they specialize in.
🎯 Requirements
• Professional experience with incubation, acceleration or company building programs • Experience building out organizational processes and identifying organizational needs • Experience in managing projects with diverse stakeholders • Good understanding of the (public goods) Ethereum space • Excellent interpersonal skills • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
