📋 Description
• Lead multiple software engineering teams in healthcare technology • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement • Oversee the design, development, and delivery of healthcare technology solutions • Collaborate with product management and design for successful product releases • Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment • Mentor and develop team members • Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends • Facilitate communication across departments • Drive resolution of technical challenges and improve engineering processes • Partner with Customer Success for product improvement insights
🎯 Requirements
• Background in Healthcare technology with experience on EMR/EHR systems in a growth-stage company • 5+ years of experience managing healthcare technology-focused engineering teams • Experience designing and building platform-level “enabling” services • Experience with EMR/EHR data models and industry specifications including: HL7, FHIR, ICD-10, SNOMED CT, CPT Codes, EDI • Understanding of HIPAA compliance and information/security requirements • 10+ years in software development with increasing scope and leadership • 6+ years of experience with full-stack healthcare application development using various technologies • Solid understanding of REST, HTTP, JSON, APIs, RDBS, and SQL • iOS or Android hybrid application development experience using React, Ionic, or similar • Deep fluency in software development methodologies • Experience working with geographically distributed teams • Proven track record with professionalized product delivery operation • Strong initiative, attention to detail, and complex problem-solving abilities • BS in Computer Science or equivalent; MS or PhD preferred
