β€’ Job Title: Software Application Engineer β€’ Looking for engineers to tackle technical challenges in application reliability, DevOps, and infrastructure. β€’ Responsibilities include scalability and performance monitoring, internal tooling, system automation, and ensuring production health. β€’ Need dynamic and collaborative individuals, enthusiastic about solving full-stack problems for patient reliance on technology. β€’ Passionate about infrastructure, automation, reliability, and helping customers with technical support.

Requirements

β€’ Design, implement, and unit test both frontend and backend application code β€’ Participate in agile practices, including meetings, iterative development, estimations, and design sessions β€’ Develop APIs that meet the needs of hospital systems, clinical researchers, and pharmacies β€’ Produce code with an emphasis on readability, reliability, maintainability, and adherence to system-wide architectural principles β€’ Work closely with Product Managers to define feature specifications and build the next generation of products leveraging frameworks such as React & React Native β€’ Troubleshoot technical problems on internal servers/environments β€’ Communicate technical risks across the group and implement performance improvement and security hardening of web applications and infrastructure β€’ Excellent systems-level analytical skills β€’ An ability to move up and down the stack β€’ A data-conscious, iterative approach to debugging, problem-solving, and development in general β€’ A strong grasp of computer science fundamentals β€’ Experience with web technologies JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, and Websockets β€’ Team collaboration, and use of source control tools (git) β€’ Configuration management systems/config-as-code β€’ Local and remote debugging β€’ SSH and VPN tunnels β€’ Common security best practices β€’ Preferred qualifications in healthcare or medical devices, Node, Webpack, React Native, and mobile development, modern JS libraries and frameworks, developing REST-based web services, cloud infrastructure at scale, SQL and NoSQL databases, basic sysadmin skills, strong design and implementation work with APIs, SDKs, and libraries, writing integration and automated tests, server-side technologies (Node.js, Python, Ruby, Rails), real-time communication technologies, Unix and BASH scripting, remote server management via online portals and SSH
