• Q2 is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Financial Analyst to join the Finance team and support our Sales & Marketing function. • This role will play a critical part in driving data-driven insights and strategic financial planning to help us achieve our growth objectives. • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and FP&A teams to ensure alignment with company goals. • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to evaluate the financial impact of various sales and marketing initiatives, including ROI and cost-benefit analysis. • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track Sales & Marketing KPIs, such as customer acquisition costs, revenue, and customer lifetime value. • Analyze and model sales compensation plans, including commission and incentive structures, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets. • Assist in the design, implementation, and administration of sales incentive programs and performance-based compensation. • Monitor and report on sales compensation expenses, forecast potential impacts on budgets, and provide actionable insights to optimize plan performance.
• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 6+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience • Strong knowledge of financial principles and accounting/budgeting practices • Strong understanding of sales compensation and commission structures, with the ability to model and analyze complex incentive programs. • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to draw insights from data and present findings to senior leadership. • Ability to solve complex problems with creative solutions • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work cross-functionally. • Proven ability to build and maintain strong, cross-functional working relationships and add value as a financial business partner • Background in financial services, information technology and/or software is a definite advantage, particularly SaaS, including software revenue recognition • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with data visualization tools and financial systems (Anaplan & NetSuite) is preferred.
