Description

• Translate client requirements into technical development • Design schemas and integrate with content management • Develop a great Digital Consumer experience based on Shopify • Collaborate with stakeholders on website preparation and updates • Assist with requirements definition, specifications, vendor selections • Ensure smooth connection with Marketing Tools, Platform APIs, and Shopify Apps • Assist with code reviews and pull requests • Diagnose and solve technical problems related to commerce implementation • Define best practices for performance and scalability of the e-commerce solution • Mentor and train Junior/Middle developers

Requirements

• At least 5 years of web development experience • Broad shop construction, launch, and maintenance expertise • Understanding of the admin system • Previous experience implementing/debugging third-party Shopify apps • Building unique solutions if needed • Working knowledge of third-party services and APIs • Knowledge of Shopify plugins • In-depth knowledge and expertise with vanilla JavaScript, jQuery, ES2015/ES6 • Experience with current JavaScript frameworks • Working experience with Docker, Varnish, Redis, ElasticSearch or Solr • HTML 5, CSS 3 - considered an advantage • Knowledge of Shopify's object/properties, AJAX API, and Meta fields • Good English, both written and spoken • Any DEV-oriented certification is an advantage
