• What Is Exoticca? • Exoticca is a pioneering online travel agency that has revolutionized the conception, production, and e-commerce of long-distance dream trips. • At the core of Exoticca's brand equity is the commitment to "creating life milestones." • We are a professional, dynamic, multicultural team in rapid international growth, seeking new partners to help us create the best and most forward-thinking travel company of our generation. • What about the Data team? • At Exoticca, we believe Data is the main responsible for making data essential in key decision making across the whole organization. • We capture vast amounts of data from multiple customer touch points, spanning from consideration and booking to pre-travel, travel, and post-travel. • In order to achieve such ambitious goals, our Data team works together with other departments to uncover the most valuable insights our data can deliver. • Which will be your main responsibilities? • Be part of a team that takes end-to-end responsibility for designing, building, and maintaining batch & real-time data pipelines and data solutions. • Create solutions to enable diagnostic and predictive analytics capabilities.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of work experience in a similar role as a Data Engineer, Architect or DBA. • Proficiency with at least one language: Python (Java or Scala are also acceptable). • Experience with relational databases and NoSQL databases. • Experience with data warehouses, data lakes and data marts. • Experience with cloud-based, distributed systems and orchestrated ETL processes (AWS is preferred). • Experience integrating data from multiple sources, including internal DBs, APIs, and product / marketing tracking tools. • Fluency in English. • Experience deploying cloud services using IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK…) • Collaborative, committed, and team-oriented work ethic. • Authentic, fun, curious, and highly eager to learn and improve constantly at a personal and professional level.
