Description

Provide prompt and clear legal advice and guidance to leadership, sales, and various internal stakeholders within the company on a wide range of legal issues. • Review, negotiate, and draft various customer agreements to ensure compliance with applicable laws and protect the organization's business interests. • Coordinate with internal teams and external counsel to ensure all contractual relationships and policies meet legal and company standards. • Prepare and conduct training to support the onboarding and ongoing education of sales and leadership team members on legal risks and compliance requirements. • Assist with complex cross-functional strategic initiatives.

Requirements

Juris Doctor, or equivalent, from an accredited law school. • Admitted to, and in good standing with, the bar in at least one US jurisdiction. • Minimum eight years of experience practicing law with significant experience negotiating legal/commercial terms relevant to technology contracts, including prior experience in a corporate legal department. • Demonstrated expertise in negotiating complex contractual arrangements. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Knowledge and expertise on specific laws, rules, and regulations related to cybersecurity, information security, and privacy. • Expertise in identifying and resolving booking and revenue recognition issues in technology agreements.
