Description
• FAFS Fire & Security specialise in designing, installing, commissioning and servicing automatic Fire Detection, Protection and Alarm Systems in and around Greater London. • Currently looking for a Mechanical Sprinkler Service Engineer covering the London region. • Carry out servicing and remedial works of Sprinkler Systems, Fire Hydrants, Fire Hose Reels, Dry/Wet Risers. • Ensure works are to a high standard within Health & Safety and Quality company requirements. • Undertake Mechanical Servicing and Remedial works of Fire Hydrants, Fire Hose Reels, Fire Risers and Sprinkler Systems. • Provide information to quote to upgrade or modify these systems in relation to manufacturers and industry guidelines. • The company will provide initial training and continued ongoing support.
Requirements
• At least 5 years experience in a Sprinkler Engineer position/Mechanical pipe installation • Extensive knowledge of both commercial and residential sprinkler systems, be able to carry system change overs and be competent with fire alarms and all kinds of commercial sprinkler systems. • A working practice of BS9251 • Demonstrable technical experience with good interpersonal skills. • Experience working in the field independently • Flexible to work across single and multiple site locations • Full Driving Licence
