Description
• As a Transaction Monitoring Specialist at Fasset, you'll enhance compliance monitoring and screening processes. • Ensure transactions adhere to regulatory requirements by conducting detailed investigations and reporting findings. • Conduct daily monitoring of cryptocurrency transactions to identify and investigate suspicious activities. • Review and analyze transaction alerts generated by the monitoring system. • Conduct thorough investigations of potential money laundering, fraud, and other financial crimes. • Prepare and submit Suspicious Activity Reports in accordance with regulatory requirements. • Ensure compliance with relevant AML/CFT regulations and internal policies. • Work closely with other compliance team members, sharing insights on trends and emerging risks. • Maintain detailed and organized records of all monitoring and investigation activities. • Assist in the development and delivery of AML/CFT training programs for staff. • Participate in the continuous improvement of transaction monitoring systems and policies.
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in transaction monitoring, AML/CFT compliance, Fraud Controls , or a related field. • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field. • Strong understanding of AML/CFT regulations, cryptocurrency transaction monitoring, and financial crime typologies. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify patterns and anomalies in large datasets. • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in performing monitoring and investigation tasks. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document and report findings. • Proficiency in using transaction monitoring systems and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). • Relevant certifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) or similar are a plus. • Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of work.
