โ€ข The Data Scientist II is proficient in building algorithms, data modeling, and building data-driven solutions that solve customer business problems. โ€ข They are responsible for partnering with customers to perform statistical analysis and build machine learning models. โ€ข The Data Scientist II support prototypes and scalable production solutions to help customers make data-driven solutions.

Requirements

โ€ข A minimum of 8 years of demonstrated related working experience โ€ข Python Expertise: Extensive experience in Python, particularly in developing machine learning and NLP models. โ€ข Natural Language Processing (NLP): Extensive experience in developing NLP models for processing unstructured text data. โ€ข Data Manipulation: Strong expertise in numpy, pandas, and/or scipy for data analysis, particularly in the context of large datasets. โ€ข Machine Learning Expertise: 3+ years of experience in machine learning, with a strong track record of developing and deploying recommendation systems. โ€ข Cloud Platforms: Extensive experience with AWS, particularly in deploying and managing machine learning models using S3, EC2, Lambda, and SageMaker. โ€ข Problem-Solving: analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges โ€ข Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. โ€ข Proficiency with deep learning tools and at least one machine learning tool, such as Hadoop, Apache Spark, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or cloud-provider equivalents. โ€ข Proven skills in statistics, data processing, or data annotation. โ€ข Proficiency with various types of databases, such as relational, key-value, document, graph. โ€ข Proficient in OLAP data storage technologies like data lakes, and data warehouses. โ€ข Proven ability to work with at least one machine learning tool like Hadoop, Apache Spark, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn, or cloud-provider equivalents. โ€ข Skilled in the usage of visualization tools and techniques like D3 Dash, ggplot, Tableau, or equivalents. โ€ข Proficient in cloud computing technologies such as Azure, Databricks, AWS, Google Cloud Platform. โ€ข Ability to view data and determine what questions to ask, what assumptions to make, what algorithms to use, and how to get the biggest impact from it. โ€ข Ability to understand and respond to customer needs and collaborate as part of a cross-functional team. โ€ข Experience working in an agile environment. โ€ข Ability to operate and manage work, strategically reason, build relationships, and influence others.
