• About Us: Félix is a chat-based platform that enables Latinos in the US to send money home, pioneering remittance services via WhatsApp. • About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated Cloud Security Engineer to work alongside Damian Finol, our Head of DevSecOps. • Responsibilities: Configure and maintain network & web applications firewalls, implement security protocols, develop monitoring systems, manage IAM, conduct regular vulnerability assessments, collaborate with development teams for application security.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a similar role • Highly Preferred: Professional Cloud Security Engineer certification from Google Cloud • Strong understanding of network security principles, protocols, and technologies • Proficiency in network and web application (WAF) firewall administration and configuration in a Google Cloud environment. • Experience with security monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS) • Knowledge of vulnerability management and penetration testing methodologies • Familiarity with IAM concepts and best practices • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
