Description

• Provide trauma-informed group and individual clinical counseling and support for staff. • Facilitate regular support groups and provide a confidential space for staff. • Plan, organize, and facilitate 2 hours per month of therapeutic group sessions. • Support staff by providing emotional and psychological support. • Assist staff in developing coping strategies for stress and burnout. • Offer individual or group support for acute stress or crises. • Collaborate with program leadership to identify workplace challenges.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW), Psychology, Counseling, or a related field (required). • Clinical licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent) in good standing (required). • Minimum 3 years of experience providing group therapy, with a focus on trauma, burnout prevention, and stress management. • Experience working in or supporting staff in high-stress environments such as harm reduction, behavioral health, social services, or crisis intervention programs. • Strong understanding of harm reduction principles and the unique challenges faced by staff working in this field. • Expertise in group facilitation, stress management, and trauma-informed care. • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. • Ability to create a safe and supportive space for staff to explore their feelings and experiences.
