• Ferryscanner is an online search and booking engine for ferry tickets. • Responsible for producing compelling content for website, blog posts, newsletters, and marketing materials. • Create engaging and persuasive copy in German for various marketing channels. • Research ferry destinations and travel topics to generate unique content. • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies. • Use SEO best practices to optimize German-language content. • Proofread and edit content for accuracy and consistency. • Stay updated on industry trends and ferry-related developments. • Assist in localizing content between English and German.
Requirements
• Native German speaker with excellent writing and editing skills is a must • Proven experience as a copywriter, content creator, or similar role is a must (preferably in the travel or hospitality industry) • A portfolio of previous work demonstrating your ability to craft compelling content would be great • Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices and ability to implement them in Spanish content • Familiarity with SEO tools like Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Google Search Console etc. • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines • A keen eye for detail and exceptional proofreading and editing abilities • Creativity and strong research skills • Collaborative spirit • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
