Description
• Actuary develops and maintains Microsoft Excel based model validation tools • Ensure efficiencies in model validation process • Collaborate with teams for Corporate AXIS model updates • Independently update and maintain validation tools • Serve as expert and provide training on model validation tools • Drive enhancements for repeatable and scalable processes • Maintain documentation and foster risk-aware culture • Lead and manage actuarial staff development and collaboration
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science or related field • FSA preferred • 5+ years of related actuarial experience • Experience with and knowledge of reporting and modeling of US Statutory and US GAAP reporting preferred • Experience with Fixed Indexed Annuity, Registered Index-Linked Annuity, or Indexed Universal Life, or reinsurance thereon, preferred • Experience with and knowledge of AXIS or similar actuarial modeling software preferred
