• The purpose of this Business Analyst position is to facilitate the analysis, design and implementation of eApplication (Electronics Order Entry) platform solutions. • As part of the Electronic Distributor Interfaces (EDI) team, this role will work closely with IT staff & multiple business units to identify and document optimal solutions for critical business needs and opportunities. • This position will also include the coordination of testing efforts with outside vendors and distributors, so professional communication skills are a must. • Act as the subject matter expert for Electronic Order Entry (eApplication) and data feed areas. • Develop and maintain eApplication product offerings. • Assist with the interpretation of user requirements into feasible options and communicate this back to the business stakeholders in the form of a requirements document. • Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements. • Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle. • Evaluate critical system defects by determining and communicating priorities based on impacts to business.

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred. • 3-5 years’ experience in the financial services industry • 2+ years of Business Analysis experience with demonstrated progression in responsibilities • 1-2 years’ experience enhancing, maintaining, and troubleshooting one or more electronic order entry platforms • Insurance industry experience & knowledge of Annuity/Life products strongly preferred • ACORD Certified Expert (ACE) highly desired • LOMA designations such as FLMI are highly desired
