Description

• finmid's mission is to enable software companies to reimagine how their business customers access capital. • We are currently hiring an Engineering Manager based in Berlin or remote to lead a team of software engineers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams on developing, optimizing, and scaling our fintech software. • In this role, you will drive technical excellence, mentor and develop your team, and ensure the successful delivery of strategic projects.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience leading and managing teams of engineers in a fast-paced, agile environment, preferably in fintech. • 5+ years of backend software engineering experience in SaaS, fintech or payments technologies companies. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). • Strong technical expertise in backend development, cloud infrastructures, and distributed systems. • Demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion and deliver results in a timely manner across multiple countries and markets. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • A solid understanding of software architecture, system design, and modern development methodologies, particularly in cloud-based environments. • Experience working with distributed teams, promoting a culture of inclusivity and belonging in a remote setup. • A passion for mentoring, coaching, and fostering the growth of your team members. • Ability to adapt to changing environments and drive continuous improvement in platform reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
