Description

• Responsible for client service delivery, including fund accounting and administration operations. • Take ownership of the quarterly/annual financial close, reconciliation of accounts, and G/L analysis. • Review and ensure journal entries are posted accurately. • Manage clients’ back-office finance functions. • Prepare quarter-end reporting package including financial statements. • Lead annual financial reporting process and audit coordination. • Take ownership of investor communication, including onboarding and documentation. • Review intercompany transactions. • Assist leadership with setting policies and procedures, and driving best practices. • Support new business integration and ensure operating models deliver superior service to clients. • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and provide five-star client service. • Oversee recruitment and training of new employees.

Requirements

• Seven years of experience in fund accounting, administration, and financial reporting of venture capital and private equity funds. • Experience with General and Limited Partnership Agreements, and complex entity structures. • Managing multiple client accounts or entities. • Preparing and/or reviewing investor communications. • Understanding and updating fund performance, waterfall calculations, management fees, and carried interest allocations. • Calculating net asset value. • Coordinating annual audit and tax return preparation. • Proficient with QuickBooks Online and fund administration software. • Experience with cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting. • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. • Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently. • Hiring, training, and retaining skilled accounting staff. • Ability to handle multiple engagements simultaneously. • Commitment to meet critical business deadlines. • Strong communication and interaction with internal and external partners. • Self-starter with strong organizational skills. • Exceptional attention to detail • Excellent research and problem-solving skills. • Always looking to learn and improve; solicits/uses constructive feedback. • Comfortable working remotely in a dynamic environment.
