📋 Description
• Join the First American Trust team as a Senior Data Engineer • Develop data engineering capabilities for Strategic Product Development • Build high-performing cloud data solutions • Design, implement, test, and maintain distributed data solutions • Improve internal processes and optimize data delivery • Enhance a shared data lake for decision-making • Collaborate with teams to understand their needs • Manage and model data using visualization tools • Participate in active rotational support role for production • Engage in collaboration with other engineers • Experience with Agile Software Development methodologies
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of development experience with software languages: Python, Scala, and SQL • Hands-on data security and cloud security methodologies • Experience in configuration and management of data security to meet compliance and CISO security requirements • Experience creating and maintaining data intensive distributed solutions in a cloud environment • Hands-on experience in modern Data Analytics architectures in a cloud environment • Experience in Event Streaming Platforms and data pipeline orchestration tools • Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Spark, HIVE, Hadoop, Cloudera, or RedShift • Experience developing in a containerized local environment like Docker, Rancher, or Kubernetes • Data Modeling Design schema and data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data • Create, maintain, and optimize database structures • Evaluate data trends and model data solutions • Implement data cleansing processes and oversee data quality
