• Seeking California lawyer with significant litigation experience • Focused on enhancing public access to government records and First Amendment rights • Expanding strategic litigation program by pursuing civil cases • Managing case deadlines and discovery plans • Drafting legal documents and public communications • Assisting with responses to legal queries • Participating in workshops and trainings on open government
🎯 Requirements
• Member of California State Bar in good standing • At least seven years of litigation experience in California courts • Outstanding skills in research, analysis, legal writing and oral communication • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively • Demonstrated initiative in developing cases and acting decisively • Experience in working autonomously under general supervision • Excellent time management skills • Collaborative and solution-oriented mindset • Willingness to travel as needed for litigation or professional reasons
