• This is a remote position. • Technical Services Analysts facilitate the migration of data from legacy systems into a client’s site during the implementation phase by working in close coordination with the client, implementation team, and database team. • As a Technical Analyst, you will take responsibility for identifying business requirements related to data migration efforts, gathering information and resources related to the implementation, and testing/verifying the integrity of deployed data within the First Due system. • Throughout the process, clear and concise documentation should allow all members of the team to track progress and estimated completion of each assigned task. • Coordinate with client and implementation team to identify data migration requirements. • Analyze limitations/gaps between legacy client systems and First Due data fields. • Import legacy data provided by clients from a variety of sources (SQL backup files, CSV spreadsheets, TXT files, XML files). • Restore SQL backup databases to pull legacy data from tables. • Maintain communication with all stakeholders internal and external. • Serve as a technical resource internally and with clients. • Provide guidance to the database team. • Inspect imported data for integrity.
• Experience explaining technical processes in simple terms • Experience in writing SQL statements from scratch • Experience with authoring SQL queries that pull from multiple tables • Basic to intermediate understanding of structured data • Basic to intermediate understanding of relational data structures (databases) • Basic to intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel • Basic to intermediate understanding of delimited data files, structured data files, and file transport methods • Demonstrable organizational and time management skills • Some knowledge of the Fire/EMS industry (nice to have) • Basic to intermediate understanding of GIS components (nice to have)
